PLANTS FOR WRECKING YARDS, RECYCLING DEPOTS AND SCRAP METAL YARDS
DEPURECO came up with a widely successful meteoric water treatment system that targets wrecking yards, such as car breakers, waste and metal depots.
Current laws require that meteoric water undergoes proper treatments before natural surface water body can receive it
To be more precise, any business dealing with collecting, warehousing and treating wastes should own a first flush rainwater treatment system along with some screening, sand-removal and oil-separation facilities for run-off rainwater treatment. In the event of a total lack of the above mentioned equipments, at least a watertight tank must be arranged, in order to collect meteoric water until the appointed gully sucker picks it up.
With regards to first flush wastewater treatment, the choice of the fitting solution depends on the kind of the materials stocked within the area. In greater detail, whether we refer to inorganic and inert materials such as paper, cardboard, glass, plastic, then we suggest DEPOFIL (see picture nr. 1), otherwise , whether materials are metals either organic compounds or wet wastes, the most suitable option is DEPURECO 1000 SERIES electrolytic flocculation plant (see picture nr 2).
The final effluent from first flush rainwater treatment can be discharged to the public sewer system or to natural receiving surface water bodies or even reused at irrigation purposes. As for the run-off rainwater treatment, the plant performs screening, sand-removal and oil separation. The choice of the optimal plant size depends on the flow-rate. The alternative options are tangential flow circular plants (available for 18, 36, 50 and 70 lit/sec) and rectangular section plants (available for 100 or 200 lit/sec).
